Chrysler plant achieves sustainability goals with Applied Flow Technology software
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 16, 2016 – Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) significantly reduced energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions at their top-ranked plant in the U.S. with the help of Applied Flow Technology Corporation’s (AFT) pipe flow modeling software.
AEX, or the Automating Equipment Information Exchange Project, is developing and deploying eXtensible Markup Language (XML) specifications to support automation of information sharing associated with design, procurement, delivery, operation and maintenance of engineered equipment.
The Associated Press reported that the $1.4 billion Spallation Neutron Source facility at Oak Ridge, TN, has established a new mark as the world's most powerful accelerator-based source of neutrons for scientific research.
Many customers are concerned about verification and validation, perhaps none more so than those in the nuclear industry.
