AFT Fathom Quick Start Video Series
The AFT Fathom Quick Start Video Tutorial Series contains five short videos to help new users understand the minimal level of knowledge required to be able to understand the basics of the interface, build models and define input, run the models, and to analyze the results.

Status Light, Analysis Setup, and Blue Highlighting

(4:46) Video 1 of 5 to introduce and train new engineers on how to use AFT Fathom, a pipe flow modeling software for steady-state analysis of incompressible liquids and low velocity gases. In this video, users will learn about the status light, analysis setup, and blue highlighting.

Fluid Properties

(5:10) Video 2 of 5 to introduce and train new engineers on how to use AFT Fathom, a pipe flow modeling software for steady-state analysis of incompressible liquids and low velocity gases. In this video, users will learn about the different fluid modeling options in the Fluid Properties group of Analysis Setup and how to define fluid properties in their AFT Fathom models.

Building a Model

(5:52) Video 3 of 5 to introduce and train new engineers on how to use AFT Fathom, a pipe flow modeling software for steady-state analysis of incompressible liquids and low velocity gases. In this video, users will learn how to change the default unit system, place pipes and junctions on the workspace, and define pipes and junctions in AFT Fathom.

Running a Model and Viewing Results

(4:37) Video 4 of 5 to introduce and train new engineers on how to use AFT Fathom, a pipe flow modeling software for steady-state analysis of incompressible liquids and low velocity gases. In this video, users will learn how run a model and view the results in the Output and Visual Report windows in AFT Fathom.

Making Graphs

(4:40) Video 5 of 5 to introduce and train new engineers on how to use AFT Fathom, a pipe flow modeling software for steady-state analysis of incompressible liquids and low velocity gases. In this video, users will learn how to make profile graphs in AFT Fathom.
