Energy Costs in Rotating and Reciprocating Equipment
Motor energy used to drive rotating and reciprocating equipment like pumps, fans and compressors, is one of the largest consumers of electricity in industrial applications. To reduce life cycle cost and make more efficient use of energy, the energy costs associated with pumps, fans and compressors should be well understood.
