Webinars
Applied Flow Technology offers introductory Webinars about our software. These presentations are one hour long and are ideal for people who are evaluating AFT products.
AFT Fathom - Incompressible Flow Modeling Webinar
Wednesday, May 22, 2013
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM MDT
Cost: FREE
During this webinar we’ll be providing an overview for building models in Fathom 8 for hydraulic analysis. You’ll learn the fundamentals of constructing models, defining system properties, reviewing the output and graphing results. It’s the perfect format for those evaluating our software.
AFT Fathom (Add-On Modules Emphasis)
Tuesday, June 18, 2013
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM MDT
Cost: FREE
This webinar adds to the introductory ‘Fathom – Incompressible Flow’ webinar by introducing the following modules:
- Goal Seek and Control (GSC)
- Extended Time Simulation (XTS)
- Settling Slurry (SSL)
AFT Arrow - Compressible Flow Modeling
Wednesday, June 26, 2013
3:00 PM - 4:00 PM MDT
Cost: FREE
We’ll provide an overview of how to model your compressible system using AFT Arrow software. From the basics of building and defining your model, to sizing compressors, understanding system behavior related to sonic choking and more. Although this webinar is introductory in nature, we’ll touch on some of the critical aspects of a robust software package capable of dealing with gas flow systems.
AFT Impulse - Waterhammer & Surge Analysis
Thursday, July 11, 2013
3:00 PM -4:00 PM MDT
Cost: FREE
This webinar is designed to provide an overview for those that need to contend with the complex behavior of waterhammer/surge analysis. We’ll discuss how to properly model a simplistic system, review the output and understand the transient response. During the webinar, we’ll model the following cases, all of which create transients in our system:
- pump start-up
- pump trip
- valve closing
These effects will be both graphed and animated, for a better understanding of the impacts of waterhammer.
