Business Sales Consultant*

 

Job Summary:

This internal sales and business strategy role is primarily responsible for AFT’s CRM database management as well as our Support, Upgrade & Maintenance programs. The person also works with customers on software licenses and quotes, and will help develop and implement sales strategy within the company.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team to provide quotes, take orders and work with other staff to fulfill customer needs
  • Interface with Sales Engineers and Marketing department to respond to customers and marketing initiatives
  • Manage AFT’s paid Support, Upgrade and Maintenance plan program
  • Manage AFT’s cloud-based customer (CRM) database, processes, and reporting
  • Provide product information to customers and prospects by email, telephone, onsite visits, tradeshows and web applications
  • Provide after sales support as needed to develop customer relationships
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of sales strategy, communications, and reporting
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions

 Skills and Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Business or equivalent
  • Understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and program management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with IT a plus
  • Knowledgeable in CRM tools - SalesForce and Conga forms is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be a team player
  • Foreign language skills a plus
