Founded in 1993, Applied Flow Technology is an international leader in the pipe flow modeling software market. With a primary focus on developing high-quality fluid flow analysis software, AFT has a comprehensive line of products for the analysis and design of piping and ducting systems. 

Job Summary:

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to use both business and engineering skills. You will work with engineers in a variety of industries to provide them with software options that will help them simulate, analyze and build their hydraulic flow systems. In this role, you will work with leading engineering companies and will have the opportunity to help AFT strategically communicate with engineers to help them understand their products, as well as ensure they remain a part of AFT support program.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Manage AFT’s paid Support, Upgrade and Maintenance program and cloud-based customer (CRM) database, processes, and reporting
• Work with the sales team to provide quotes, take orders and work with other staff to fulfill customer needs
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of sales strategy and reporting
• Write engineering technical content for publication, training, instructional videos, and webinars
• Provide educational training and information by email, phone, onsite visits, tradeshows, and web applications
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions

Skills and Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering (ME or ChemE preferred)
• Understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and program management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable with IT a plus
• Ability to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be a team player
• Foreign language skills a plus
