Applications Engineer

 

Founded in 1993, Applied Flow Technology is an international leader in the pipe flow modeling software market. With a primary focus on developing high quality fluid flow analysis software, AFT has a comprehensive line of products for the analysis and design of piping and ducting systems. 

Application Engineers are a vital part of our company as they are customer facing for support and troubleshooting, as well as the backbone of our documentation and training programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with engineers in a variety of industries around the world to help them find solutions as they utilize AFT software. 

 

Position entails a wide variety of responsibilities in technical support and sales including:

  • Customer support
  • Beta test products
  • Develop and produce training materials
  • Conduct training seminars
  • Perform analysis on consulting projects
  • Write technical blogs and articles for publications
  • Create video tutorials
  • Create and maintain product documentation
  • Other duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in engineering
  • 1 year of engineering experience preferred. Will consider recent grads with exceptional backgrounds
  • Experience in piping & pumping systems
  • Fluid flow analysis experience a plus
  • Extensive experience using Windows applications
  • Foreign language proficiency a plus

  • Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day
