Applied Flow Technology is currently offering introductory Webinars for our software. Webinars will be one hour long and scheduled at various times. These presentations are ideal for people who are evaluating AFT software or brand new users. Additional online resources for advanced users are currently under development.

Upcoming Webinars:

AFT Impulse - Waterhammer & Surge Analysis Software Webinar
Wednesday, May 23, 2012
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM MDT

This webinar is designed to provide an overview for those that need to contend with the complex behavior of waterhammer/surge analysis.  We’ll discuss how to properly model a simplistic system, review the output and understand the transient response.  During the webinar, we’ll model the following cases, all of which create transients in our system:

  • pump start-up
  • pump trip
  • valve closing

These effects will be both graphed and animated, for a better understanding of the impacts of waterahammer.
