Applied Flow Technology (AFT) announces Duke Energy and Hatch Mott MacDonald as the winners of the 2011 Platinum Pipe Award, recognizing excellence in piping and ducting system modeling using AFT Software.

Colorado Springs, CO – At the end of the third quarter of each year, Applied Flow Technology releases a call for entries from its customers to put their best projects forward in competition for the Annual Platinum Pipe Award. Out of many, two entries stood out as winners for 2011: Duke Energy and Hatch Mott MacDonald. Two AFT software licenses will be awarded for each winning entry: one to the company who owns the software license used to develop the entered model and one to the individual making the winning entry.

We have released our preliminary training schedule for 2012 which includes dates for onsite training in Colorado Springs for AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, AFT Arrow, AFT Mercury and AFT Titan. Some dates are yet to be announced but you can mark your calendars for the sessions that have been scheduled.
